Erasmus+ and European Funding

This project, “GENIE: Generative AI for Inclusive Education and Empowerment”, is co-funded by the European Union, which provides opportunities for people with fewer chances to access education and supports the digital transition by strengthening digital skills and the use of new technologies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I apply directly as a teacher?

No, applications are always submitted by your school/institution to the National Agency. You simply need to inform your school administration of your interest in attending a course abroad, and they will handle the application process on your behalf.

No, this is not a problem at all. Schools and institutions that have never participated in Erasmus+ can apply through a KA122 short-term mobility project. This type of project is specifically designed for newcomers and does not require prior experience with Erasmus+.

With KA122:

  • Your school can apply for a small-scale project.

  • The application process is actually simpler and less demanding than for long-term accredited projects.

  • Funding can cover a limited number of mobilities (teachers or staff) so your school can try Erasmus+ without committing to a large program.

  • If your school enjoys the experience, it can later apply for an Erasmus+ accreditation (KA120), which allows regular participation and multi-year funding for our yearly events and camps in Lithuania and Malta for example.
